JPS boards recycling bandwagon with Worsley

JPS Contractors is saving time and money by recycling materials on site, with the help of a crushing bucket from Worsley Plant.

JPS Contractors Ltd is a family run firm of civil engineers offering a range of services including groundwork and surfacing, roadworks and car park works, excavation and filling. An established company of 15 years, it has been offering a full range of services across Surrey and the surrounding areas.

After seeing MB Crushing Buckets in action at the Plantworx show, JPS took one on trial. The company was so impressed with the results it decided to invest in a reconditioned MB BF60 model to use with its excavator.

JPS could also see the benefits of working with both a crushing and screening bucket on some projects. Screening material before crushing makes things easier and allows a higher percentage of re-use of the crushed materials. The screened out soil can also be re-used too. At the moment they hire in screening buckets for specific jobs but may look to invest in the future as they see this as a winning combination for the future.

“MB Crushing Buckets are very useful, productive buckets, producing a great sample and allow 100% recycling of materials on site. Before we bought ours we researched all the makes on the market and decided there was only one crushing bucket worth investing in – the MB bucket from Worsley Plant! There’s no doubt about it, it has changed the way we look at jobs,” says JPS operator Liam. “We also now offer our recycling services (excavator, operator and MB bucket) out to developers which has given us an additional revenue stream.”
