JCB issue Le Appeal

It appears that British telehandler pioneer JCB and French rival Manitou will probably not be exchanging Easter gifts this year. On 26th February, 2021 the Paris Court of Justice (Tribunal Judiciaire) found that Manitou was guilty of infringement of certain JCB patent claims.  It awarded JCB damages of €150,000 plus €50,000 in attorney fees.  The case concerned two specific European Patents (the 065 patent and 965 patent) held by JCB, which are also the subject of on-going infringement proceedings against Manitou in the UK and Italy.    JCB CEO Graeme…
