Atlas Copco will exhibit its full range of construction equipment at the ScotPlant exhibition on the 25th and 26th April. At the show in Ingliston, Edinburgh Atlas Copco will showcase a range of construction equipment from the 6.5kg Tex 05PE vibro-reduced pneumatic hammer to the new 12 tonne Dynapac CA3500 soil roller. The show will also provide the opportunity for new members of Atlas Copco’s Scottish sales force to establish themselves in the market.
Recently Atlas Copco have seen an increase in activity north of the border with large orders for compressors and notable deals for pavers. To strengthen their presence in the north Atlas Copco have employed three new sales representatives in Scotland.
To bolster the new sales force, Atlas Copco are attending the ScotPlant Show with a good cross-section of the construction range. On display at Stand 1, Avenue 12 will be a range of handheld demolition equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic and petrol powered equipment. The extensive range of hydraulic equipment includes a breaker, core drill, cut-off saw post driver and post-hole borer. The range of compaction equipment will include a forward plate, forward and reverse plate and a rammer all geared towards the UK market. There will be two innovative electric smart concrete pokers that feature a built-in frequency converter for ease of use. The range of robust electric WEDA pumps will also be on show. The well-known carrier mounted hydraulic breakers to suit mini-excavators to 32 tonne machines will be exhibited. Finally, the well-received Dynapac CC1200 asphalt roller and the CA 3500 soil roller will be on display in their recently re-branded Atlas Copco livery.
Mar Black, Business Line Manager for Road Construction Equipment says, “Now is a good time to attend the ScotPlant show, things are picking up in Scotland and our new sales representatives in the region will increase our presence in both established and new markets.”
